Chapter Community Support


1953-1957		Provided funding to the Council to Aid Limited Children, Les Passees Rehabilitation Center, St. Jude Hospital, Easter Seal Society, The Zuber Bynum Council, and Family Service of Memphis.

1968-Present		Goodwill Homes Community Service, Inc. was selected as the organization’s charity of choice. J.U.G.S. has: Built a swimming pool and provided maintenance Purchased a 12-passenger van Purchased and transferred the title of a group home to Goodwill Homes Renovated a group home Purchased/installed two air conditioners for Central Office Contributed more than $150,000 to Summer Youth Employment Program. Purchased automobile for medical transportation Provided air conditioner for group homes Replaced roof on a group home Purchased school uniforms

1993-Present		J.U.G.S. Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating seniors.
1994		Received the Crystal Award for Philanthropic Organization of the Year.

1996-2000		Goodwill Homes International Friends Gala raised more than $300,000.

2000-Present		Annual J.U.G.S. Orchid Awards Luncheon, honoring unsung heroes committed to improving the lives of children.

2005		Funded the Bridges-Chandler Kids Cafe
